Bockholmen är en liten ö som ligger en dryg kilometer från Bergshamra eller ca 6 km norrut från Stureplan i Stockholm. Den ligger ett stenkast från Ålkistan där Brunnsviken möter Lilla Värtan. En liten bro löper från fastlandet över till ön där flera stigar leder till badklippor, några små grillplatser och på andra sidan ligger trevliga Bockholmens Restaurang. Bockholmen är en liten pärla i Stockholm och denna gång blev det tältning.

Att gå ut en lördagskväll har en ny innebörd
När jag föreslår att vi ska gå ut efter jobbet eller en lördagskväll är det klokt att ställa en kontrollfråga om klädsel och plats. Det är inte helt självklart att det blir något att äta eller något gott att dricka på ett ställe i stan.

Utan istället kan det mycket väl bli en tur ut i skog och natur ett tag för att sen hitta en bra plats att slå läger för natten. Men precis som när man ska ut på en god middag eller på teater så är det viktigt att klä sig rätt. Kostymen stannar hemma och en mer frilufsig stil får ta över. Och trevligt blir det, det kan jag lova. Många leenden och nära till skrattet.

Att dela en härlig upplevelse
Att introducera någon till att sova ute är lika roligt som att ta med någon på en första springtur. Mitt mål är inte bara att vi ska dela upplevelsen utan att den som är med också får en positiv känsla efteråt och vill med igen. Flera gånger i olika sammanhang så säger den som är med efteråt, ”Det här var roligt, när gör vi det igen?”. Det är verkligen bästa betyget!

Den här gången var Jeanette som första gäst i projektet med. Det var runt 4 grader ute och fuktigt. Ett lätt snöfall som föll och smälte på tältduken. Under natten fick vi förstärka med lite improviserade saker. Jag tar alltid med extra saker för at hålla värmen och min dunjacka blev en perfekt extra liten sovsäck för Jeanettes fötter. En sovsäckspåse med mjuka kläder blev en bra huvudkudde.

Viktigt att inte ta på alla förstärkningsplagg på en gång utan at successivt ta på saker så man inte blir för varm och börjar svettas.

Man sover bättre i tält!
Här är en intressant artikel om den positiva effekten av att sova i tält. En vecka ute i naturen utan telefoner eller datorer ställde om klockan på försökspersonerna så de sov drygt två timmar mer per dygn. Endast en helg under samma förutsättningar gav en dryg timme extra sömn. De ställde helt enkelt in sig efter den naturliga klockan med solljuset. Så de la sig tidigare och sov gott.

För att underhålla detta när de kom hem så släckte de ner och hade dov belysning på kvällarna. Finns än mer om det här och jag är inte expert. Men jag kan intyga att jag mår som en prins när jag får vakna ute i naturen. Bra sömn är viktigt så pröva du med!

Mer snö vore inte dumt
En av mina tankar med projektet är att öva på att tälta under alla säsonger och med alla typer av väder. Den här vintern har bjudit på kyla och tjäle, men det vore najs med mer snö för att pröva på det mer nu på vintern.

Håller tummarna eller så får jag helt enkelt åka norröver. Kommer inte snön till Hjorten får Hjorten åka till snön…
